Recovering Your Chair Seats (In-Person)

Chairs play an important part in our day-to-day lives and making them look fabulous couldn't be easier. Join us for this new class and learn how to remove old fabric and foam from your chairs and then how to prep and recover them to give them a wonderful new look.

This class is taught by Lisa Pelow. Lisa is a full-time home décor and design blogger,
part-time upholstery teacher/furniture artist, and the creative mind behind Pelow Studio Designs. Though she's worked as a Pediatric nurse, and a scenic artist, her true passion has always been home decor and design. Her training includes furniture painting and upholstery and she has been designing and styling spaces since college. Be sure to check out more of her work on her blog, Instagram, or Facebook. 

This 2-hour class will cover...

How to choose your first project to ensure success
Removing old fabric and foam
Prepping the chair seat
Measuring and cutting foam 
Choosing a fabric
Attaching the fabric
Covering corners
Finishing the chair seat

During this hands-on workshop, you will be using a sample board, foam, and fabric to learn how to recover a chair seat. You will be able to take your sample board with you.

If you have a staple gun please bring it with you (outlets are available for corded versions). Not to worry though if you don't have one, we have extras.

This is a beginner class suitable for all levels.   

Cost is $87 + tax.  All supplies included.

Cancellation Policy - Due to the prep required and the very limited spaces for this class, any cancellations or reschedules done within 48 hours of the class date will result in a $25 fee. Any no-shows will result in a fee equal to the class fee ($87). Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you soon!
