Botanical Drawings Decoupage Paper

Botanical Drawings is a simple, elegant and charming Annie Sloan with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Decoupage Paper showing thistles, pears, strawberries, lemons, and more. The images have been selected from Botanical Drawings by Crispijn de Passe the Younger (c.1589/93-c.1670) .From “Hortus floridus”. Arnheim: 1614

Crispijn de Passe the Younger was born into a dynasty of printmakers, and learnt his trade as an engraver, draughtsman and printmaker of the Dutch Golden age from his father Crispijn the elder. This is some of the earliest work included in the Annie Sloan with Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) collaboration. The designs have been printed on an understated background of Old White (available as both Chalk Paint® and Annie Sloan Wall Paint).

Annie Sloan’s Decoupage Papers are the result of an exclusive collaboration with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) who gave Annie unprecedented access to their libraries.

All the papers from the Annie Sloan with Royal Horticultural Society collaboration including the geometric designs and the flora and fauna have been printed on dyed tissue papers. They have been designed to work best with Chalk Paint® and Annie Sloan Image Medium.

Pack contains 2 x Decoupage papers. 30 gsm/ 11 lbs (US paper weight).
