9:30 – 11:00 AM | Depth & Dimension: Multi-Tone Colour Layering

Learn the advanced painting techniques that give furniture and decor professional, atmospheric finishes:

• Multi-tone, layered colour effects
• Soft blends and ombré
• Creating intentional light + shadow for dramatic impact

This session alone will change the way you paint forever.

11:00 AM – 12:15 PM | The European Texture Series

Create a set of textured sample boards featuring old-world, European-inspired finishes:

• Limestone Finish — matte, stone-like, beautifully chalky
• French Wash — soft tonal patina for an aged, elegant feel
• Carved Timber Texture — a structured, dimensional wood-inspired texture

12:15 – 1:00 PM | Lunch Break

1:00 – 1:30 PM | Colour Mastery Mini-Session

A focused, practical lesson in creating harmonious palettes that elevate any project.

You'll learn:

• how to understand and balance undertones
• choosing complementary colour combinations
• mixing highlight + shadow tones for dynamic depth

1:30 – 3:50 PM | Modern Paper Surface Finishes + Photo Box Project

Transform a wooden photo box using everything you learned throughout the day:

• paint using your layered multi-tone techniques
• milk-paint the interior for a soft, old-world look
• add a curated modern paper finish to the lid
• topcoat for a refined, durable finish
• optional embellishments: gilded leafing in silver or bronze

You’ll leave with a gallery-worthy finished keepsake and a toolkit of techniques you can use on any furniture or décor piece at home.

3:50 – 4:00 PM | Closing & Q&A

Finish with one-on-one guidance, answers to your questions, and a clear plan for applying these techniques beyond the workshop.
