This vintage amber coloured insulator was historically used to support and insulate electrical conductors in power transmission and distribution systems. They were commonly used in the early dates of telegraph and telephone lines as well as for early electrical power lines. This insulator was made by Dominion glass between 1913 and 1959. It has a beaded bottom and no chips or cracks. Perfect for adding to a collection or even using as a door stop.
